Attorney
Andrew was born and raised in Iowa, where he attended the University of Iowa. After college, he put his education on hold and joined the United States Army. He attended Basic Training and Officer Candidate School, earning his commission as an officer. After finishing his training, Mr. Plagge moved to the Tampa area where he started law school at Stetson University College of Law.
Since receiving his JD from Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Plagge has practiced in various areas of law including family law, personal injury, Veterans Affairs, and criminal law. This allowed Andrew to find his passion in representing those injured due to others’ negligence and assisting his fellow Veterans with their disability claims.
Throughout his career, Andrew has handled a wide variety of personal injury cases with an assortment of injuries, including brain injuries, torn ligaments, broken bones, as well as back and neck injuries. He has litigated injuries resulting from car accidents, slip and falls, electrocutions, falling objects, and many others.
Andrew brings years of litigation experience and advocacy for military members. As a Veteran himself, he understands how the military functions, allowing him to leverage this knowledge to better represent his clients and understand their experiences. Andrew has seen first-hand how Veterans’ hospitals and the Department of Veterans Affairs can get things wrong, necessitating competent, aggressive representation.
When he is not fighting for his clients, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and rooting on the Hawkeyes. He also continues to serve his country in the United States Army Reserves.
