Criminal Defense Attorney
Chris, a Florida native, graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Bachlors degree in Finance with a minor in Real Estate. Chris went on to graduate from Stetson University College of Law with his Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration.
During his time at Stetson, Chris earned awards for his trial advocacy and for the top grade in both Contracts and Property Law. Chris was also awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award and had the honor of participating in the Stetson Honors program. He began his courtroom education as an intern for the Honorable Elizabeth Kovacevich in the U.S. Middle District Court of Florida, where he contributed language to multiple published opinions of the Court.
During his legal education, Chris developed a love and ease for the courtroom. He began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for State Attorney’s Office in Pinellas and Pasco counties. While continuing to hone his courtroom skills he develop a reputation as a tough but fair lawyer, while he litigated over 80 jury trials. During his time as an Assistant State Attorney, Chris prosecuted crimes ranging from DUI, DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, Sexual Battery, Child Sex cases, Murder, complex Drug Trafficking, Money Laundering, and Racketeering cases.
Outside of the courtroom, Chris spends his time as an adjunct college professor teaching Federal Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Evidence, and IT Security Law.
When not in the courtroom or the classroom, Chris enjoys spending his time with his two children.
